Another Great Garden Blog - Heirloom Gardener

Rose de Rescht’ ©Heirloom Gardener

There are almost too many garden blogs to count these days. One to bookmark and read is Heirloom Gardener. Written and published by a home gardener in Chatham, New Jersey. The blogger and gardener charts her daily experiences and it is hard to believe the complexity of plants she manages to work into her less than a half acre zone 6b plot.

A frequent theme of the Heirloom Gardener is roses. One of the most current blogs discusses her favorite Six Trouble-Free Heirloom Roses for the Home Garden. It should be no surprise the the Heirloom Gardener likes and blogs on Heirloom Roses, her take on gardening is practical and well thought out.

Gardening as I do in mild-weather Southern California it is fascinating to read what the Heirloom Gardener has to say about her experiences with winter gardening. True we can get some frost, but nothing like her winter gardening.

This is a blog for every serious gardener who aspires to garden at a higher level.
